I was visiting friends who live near Stonehaven and had been told about the town and the B&B based on their own experiences of staying a few years ago.I was made very welcome. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.The room was comfortable, quiet and clean with a good selection of tea/coffee as well as some biscuits. I was offered alternative milk as I'm dairy-free, which was a great personal touch.Breakfast choices were very varied and cooked to order.The only suggestion I'd put in is that the bathroom could possibly do with a little refreshing. It was clean and equipped with all that was needed but the shower was a little less powerful than I'm used to. Certainly nothing worthy of a complaint.In terms of location - a perfect spot. Just a short walk to the beach and harbour.For a small town, plenty to see and do. - Mel Jackson B
